I really like my Cyberdefender software. Having had McAffee, Norton, and several freeware programs, Cyberdefender is definitely the fastest at detecting new malware. I read a lot of Cyberdefender reviews, and no matter what anyone said, no one claimed that any other anti-virus software was faster at discovering the latest threats. Since that, to me, is the main reason to have anti-virus software, I bought it.
I know people take a Cyberdefender review, like any software review, with a grain of salt. There is one feature to Cyberdefender that hardly anybody else offers, and it makes the program really stand out. They have a security feature called “Early Scam” This program lets you know that a website is impersonating a legitimate website, and it lets you know the real URL. Sure, I thought I could detect this on my own, but type an address in with one letter off and you could get on one of these scam sites.
I know. I get phishing emails all the time because I sell on eBay and use PayPal. I always close the email hat says “security alert, update your account” or some nonsense, then type the URL address in a new browser window to check my accounts. Boy, if you type some addresses wrong, you get a very similar looking website that can steal your info so fast it will make your head spin. Cyberdefender catches this, and for me, that makes the program valuable.

I read through these papers, and came away very impressed because Cyberdefender has some very interesting and powerful technology behind it, and a growing user base in the millions.
Basically with Cyberdefender, you get 3 components:
1. Cyberdefender program on you computer, and with it you can scan your computer and clean off and protect against the most common and active Malware programs
2. Early Detection Network (EDN) is the Peer2Peer network that consists of all of Cyberdefender’s customers and their central network. When you computer gets a new type of Malware, then it passes on the signature to all the computers in the network, and they are now able to stop and prevent the Malware from infecting any of the computers on the network. Of course, Cyberdefender will then be able to clean this new Malware off your computer. The second part of the EDN, is that they have a spider that goes out looking for websites, and if it find that they host Malware, then they send back the info to Cyberdefender HQ, who then verify and send out the update to the EDN.
3. 24/7 Computer Help is Cyberdefender’s secret weapon. For your yearly subscription to Cyberdefender, you get access to the 24/7 help line. This is a live call center in the USA, set-up to help Cyberdefender users with any kind of computer problem, not just Malware issues
These 3 components make Cyberdefender a very strong Anti-Malware package that is aimed at the casual and non-technical computer users of Desktops and Laptops.
Cyberdefender also have some other things going for it:
1. They are a Public Traded company on the NASDAQ, which means they have accountability to their shareholders and the public. Many ‘antivirus software’ companies are 3 friends working out of their home. Cyberdefender has the strength support its programs and business model.
